Good point, but video games sell systems... not the other way around. The Last of Us 2 is a huge title for Sony and the PlayStation 4 is starting to show its age. It makes more sense for them to develop it for the PlayStation 5 and then port it to the PlayStation 4.

This article links to a detail article that talks about this new technology that Sony is investing in, and one of the main features is being able push next-gen current gen games to other devices making porting...

Isn't that counter-intuitive? Wouldn't it be smarter to release it solely as a PlayStation 5 title and utilize that game streaming technology they are heavily investing in with Microsoft to make the game some what playable on the PlayStation 4 (limited, of course). As the article stated, they are now going against Google. All you need is a HDMI dongle and you can play it on any device you want.

Only reason I'm hesitant about PSVR is because it all seems to be on rails.

Why are people so up in arms when someone shines negatively light on these online paywalls? You are effectively paying a monthly fee to prove you purchased the game like the article states. Sony and Microsoft shouldn't penalize the consumer for this - their DRMs work great but why should we have to pay?

Unpopular opinion here. I just don't think this game is that great. I mean, it's a good game, I solid 7 but in all it just felt too empty.

This line line got me kind of excited.

"Build a farm in your backyard while enjoying lunch with your family Sunday afternoon. Fortify your local pub and fight of dangerous mobs while having a pint with your mate."

I'm an old fart, so being able to share in the thing that I enjoyed as a kid myself is great. The idea of playing Minecraft in the backyard with the kids just kinda made me hyped.. haha

One of the best Lovecraftian games, to this day, is Sanity's Requiem on the Game Cube!

This wouldn't be such a problem if the open-world game's had substance. There are a lot of games that are open but empty and more time and effort could be spend in working on game-play, graphics, or even story. But unfortunately a lot of people are just making games open-world to try win over a bigger audience....

so yea.... the open-world game are, at least, becoming he next military shooter.

edit: this clearly is not an opinion piece... it is just...

I find myself continuously returning to Destiny: TTK to play with my friends, but Halo 5 is bloody beautiful. A lot of fun, too!

Arkham is an amazing game. I own it on all platforms. Have only had issues with DX11.

This video suggests that hus Xbox One's GPU is faulty. This is a hardware error, not software.

Holy crap a lot of typos. Wrote this at work, wasn't paying attention.

TLDR; Warner did not want to release The Witcher 3 and Dying Light in Europe. Bandai Namco took The Witcher 3 and Dying Light was self-published.

Let's not forget why Warner Brother's are releasing such great games. They own the DC, Mad Max, and Lego franchise.

As for Dying Light and The Witcher 3. The reason why Dying Light didn't get released in Europe on top is because Warner Brother's didn't want to publish it Europe, so they had to self publish.

Bandai Namco is responsible for in Europe, or at least in the Nordics.
